Drumroll Please.........

Here it is! Our first official blog post! We never thought we'd become bloggers, but with the distance between family and friends, we decided this would be a great way for everyone to see what's happening in our world. So where do I start? Jeff started back to school this summer to finish his BA in Business. He goes to Furman two nights a week. It's made for some long days for me, but I know it's going to be worth it for him. He finishes summer session in the next few weeks, and then has a two week break before fall semester starts.
Our house is for sale!! We are building a larger home, just a few miles away. We won't be able to buy the new one until ours sells. The worst that can happen is we have to watch the new one be completed and don't sell and have to watch someone else move in. It will be tough, but we have a great home and won't complain about staying. Anyone looking for a 3BR/2BA in great neighborhood?? I know a great place for sale!
I've decided to start doing some baby-sitting lately, and the jobs just keep rolling in. It has been a great way to earn some extra money and I've really been enjoying myself.
I went to Boston for a visit with Becca. We had so much fun! The highlight was the Bon Jovi concert! She showed me the entire city in just 3 days. We got to spend a lot of time together, which doesn't happen often.
Brady is so active and busy he deserves a blog all to himself! He is still going to school one day a week at Greer First Baptist. He loves it! I think he enjoys every minute of it, and it gives me a little break to get some things done. Coloring and trains are his new favorites. He can color like a pro, and we've started a collection of coloring books for him to pick from. He could very well be the next Rembrandt or Picasso. We shall see. We had water night at church Sunday night, which consisted of lemonade, a never-ending spread of desserts, and water slides. Wow! They even set up a baby pool for the little ones. Brady decided he was a "big boy" and ran to get in line for the water slides. When we took his hand and led him back to the baby pool, he kicked it, screamed, and ran back over to the big kid slides. Needless to say, Jeff and I were both too big for the slides, so we spent the evening handing him off to older kids to hold him and slide. He had the best time!
Speaking of church, we are about to start small groups again. We don't have a traditional Sunday school program, but participate in in-home small group Bible studies. This has been an amazing experience for everyone, and I'm proud to say Jeff will be leading a group again.
Well, I've survived the first post! Brady keeps running in and out of the office with his crayons. Hopefully we can keep everyone updated on our lives on a regular basis!

Hello Greene Family! Thanks for inviting us (Aunt Cynthia & Uncle Fred) to your blog site. We love it! Bear is in his chair observing too. I had to buy another office chair since I retired. Bear spends all day sleeping in one and needless to say I was getting a little tired of standing up to use the computer. Hope you have a great birthday. What "number" is this coming up? Are you catching up with me yet? From the pictures of you and Becca in Boston you still look 18! Love to Jeff and Mitten!
Love,
Cynthia

Thankyou for inviting us (Aunt Cynthia and Uncle Fred) to your blog site. Such a great idea and fun way to share all that's happening.
